How this score was built

Each indicator scores 2, 1 or 0. A pillar is the points earned over the points available; the overall score is the weighted sum. Every source below is public — check any of them yourself.

A multi-exchange automation platform focused on grid and DCA bots, operating across connected exchange accounts from a single interface.

Our assessment

Bitsgap connects several exchange accounts into one interface and runs grid and DCA strategies across them. Its focus is narrower than the general-purpose bot platforms here, and grid trading is a strategy worth understanding properly before automating it.

What a grid bot actually is

A grid places buy orders below and sell orders above the current price, profiting from oscillation within a range. It works in sideways markets and loses in trending ones: a sustained fall leaves you holding progressively larger positions bought on the way down. The strategy is not a yield product, and the losses when a range breaks are not hypothetical.

Multi-exchange from one screen

Managing positions across several venues manually is where mistakes happen — the wrong account, the wrong pair, a duplicated order. Consolidating into one interface has genuine operational value, and it is a more defensible reason to use a platform like this than any claim about returns.

The cost stack

Subscription plus per-trade exchange fees. Grid strategies trade constantly by design, so exchange fees are the dominant cost and a low-fee venue changes the economics more than any platform setting. Run the fee arithmetic on your expected trade count before committing capital.

Who it suits

Bitsgap fits traders who specifically want grid or DCA automation across multiple venues and understand how grids behave when a range breaks. Traders wanting broader strategy types should compare 3Commas or Cryptohopper — with the same key-hygiene precautions.

Frequently asked

Does this score mean Bitsgap is trustworthy?

No. It measures what is published and reachable before use: the service, its terms and its documentation. Custody, routing and corporate structure are not tested by us.

Why do all providers score zero on corporate entity?

Because this class of service rarely publishes it. The indicator is identical for every provider in the category, so the comparison stays fair.

Are rates or spreads compared here?

No. Verifying quoted rates requires live transactions, which we do not perform. The rubric covers disclosure, not execution.
