Terms of use
The terms governing use of Crypto Almanac Daily, including the limits of our ratings, the absence of financial advice and how affiliate links work.
These terms govern your use of this site. Using it means accepting them. They are written to be understood rather than to be impenetrable, and the most important clause is the one about what our research is not.
This is not financial advice
Everything on this site is published information and research. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and not a personalised assessment of your circumstances. We do not know your finances, your obligations or your risk tolerance, and nothing here is tailored to them. Decisions about your own money are yours, and their consequences are yours.
What our ratings mean and do not mean
A rating is a score computed from indicators we could verify from public sources on a stated date. It measures published evidence: what a provider discloses, what a regulator's register shows, what an audit report says. It does not certify that a provider is safe, solvent or suitable for you, and it cannot detect fraud that leaves no public trace. A high score means a provider documented itself well when we checked, and that is a narrower claim than it may appear.
Information changes
Providers change fees, licences lapse, contracts are upgraded and companies fail. Every rating carries the date it was verified. Between that date and the moment you read it, the underlying facts may have changed. Check the current position with the provider before acting on anything here.
Affiliate links
Some links to providers are affiliate links, and we may receive a commission if you open an account through them. This never affects scores, ranking order or what we write. Affiliate arrangements are disclosed on the pages where they appear, and a provider's willingness or refusal to enter one has no bearing on its assessment.
Third-party content and links
We link to external sites, embed third-party market data and reference documents we do not control. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability or conduct of anything outside this site. A link is a pointer to a source, not an endorsement of the party behind it.
Intellectual property
The text, ratings, rubric and design of this site are ours. You may quote and reference our work with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, scrape the site systematically, or present our ratings as your own.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, from reliance on information published here, or from the conduct of any provider we write about. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, error-free or continuously current.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is the one on this page, and material changes will be reflected in the revision date shown below.
Frequently asked
Is anything on this site financial advice?
No. Everything published here is information and research. It is not a recommendation and is not tailored to anyone's circumstances.
Does a high rating mean a provider is safe?
No. A rating measures published evidence verified on a stated date. It cannot certify solvency or suitability, and it cannot detect fraud that leaves no public trace.
Do affiliate links change your ratings?
No. Scores are produced before any commercial conversation, and a provider's willingness to enter an arrangement has no bearing on its assessment.
Can I republish your ratings?
You may quote and reference our work with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial portions, systematic scraping and presenting our ratings as your own are not permitted.
