A protocol that pools NFTs into fungible tokens with instant liquidity, holding published audits and the strongest evidence profile in this category.

Our assessment

NFTX turns NFTs into fungible tokens: deposit an item from a supported collection, receive a token representing one unit of that collection, tradeable instantly on any AMM. It has two audits with reports linked, the strongest evidence in this comparison.

Solving the problem that defines NFT markets

An NFT has no bid until someone specifically wants that item. Owners routinely wait weeks to sell at any price. Pooling identical-tier items into a fungible token creates a continuous market with an immediate price, which is a genuine structural fix rather than a trading feature.

What fungibility costs

Pooled tokens price the floor of a collection, not individual items. Deposit a rare piece and you receive the same token as someone depositing the most common one — anything above floor value is given away. The protocol is for floor items, and using it otherwise is an expensive mistake.

The market it serves has shrunk

Value locked at $1.6m reflects an NFT sector far smaller than at its peak. Our market-quality pillar carries 20% here and records that plainly. The mechanism is sound and the addressable market contracted — those are different statements, and only the first is under the protocol's control.

Who it suits

NFTX fits holders of floor-tier items in supported collections who value immediate exit over price discovery. Holders of rare items should use a conventional marketplace where individual attributes are priced.

Frequently asked

Does this rank marketplaces by trading volume?

No. NFT volume figures are widely inflated by wash trading and we do not rank on numbers we cannot verify. The score covers audits, methodology and independently recorded data.

Why is value locked low for large marketplaces?

Most marketplace trading settles without holding assets in contracts, so value locked understates activity. We publish it as the available independent figure, not as a measure of market share.

Are creator royalties assessed?

No. Royalty enforcement is a marketplace policy that changes frequently and is not verifiable from a single public source.
