An institutional liquid staking standard holding $614m, built around named professional operators and enterprise custody integration.
Our assessment
Liquid Collective holds $614m with two audits and reports linked. It was built to a different specification from retail-facing protocols: named professional operators, enterprise custody integration, and compliance requirements written into the design.
Built for the institutional constraint set
Funds and corporates cannot stake through a protocol with anonymous operators and no compliance story — their mandates forbid it. Liquid Collective addresses that with disclosed operators, integration with qualified custodians, and standardised reporting. That is unglamorous plumbing, and it is what allows regulated capital to stake at all.
Named operators change the risk profile
Knowing which entities run the validators means a depositor can assess their track record, insurance and corporate standing rather than trusting a pseudonymous set. The counterpart is a smaller, curated operator group, which is a centralisation trade-off made deliberately in exchange for accountability.
Evidence position
Two audits with linked reports, disclosed operators and documented mechanics produce one of the stronger evidence profiles in this table. At $614m the derivative has meaningful liquidity, though its integrations skew toward institutional venues rather than retail DeFi.
Who it suits
Liquid Collective fits institutions and treasuries needing named operators and custody compatibility. Individual stakers optimising for DeFi composability will get more from Lido, Rocket Pool or StakeWise.
How rivals compare
Frequently asked
Does this score mean Liquid Collective is safe?
No. It measures what an outsider can verify: linked audits, published methodology and independently recorded market data. Contract risk is not tested by us.
Where do the TVL and audit figures come from?
A public analytics dataset queried at the verification date, plus the audit reports it links. Both are re-runnable by anyone.
Why do some protocols score zero on audits?
Because no audit report is linked in the public record. The indicator records what a user can reach, not a claim that no audit exists.
